Chef Ross Pangilinan, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, has an impressive culinary resume that has been influenced by a global palate and international experience. He spent time working in France for the two-Michelin-starred Les Trois Marche and Michelin-starred Regis restaurant. He refined his skills by opening the Sinatra restaurant within the Encore hotel in Las Vegas. His sous chef position at Patina at the Walt Disney Concert Hall helped earn the restaurant its Michelin star in 2007. He spent 7 years as the executive chef at Leatherby's Café Rouge prior to opening his first restaurant, Mix Mix Kitchen Bar, his award-winning global dining concept. The critically acclaimed eatery in Downtown Santa Ana exemplifies the techniques and traditions Pangilinan has mastered throughout his culinary journey.
Mix Mix Kitchen Bar was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2019 and named the 2017 Restaurant of the Year by Orange Coast Magazine and has garnered praise from Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, NBC, and Modern Luxury, among others. Chef Ross was named “Rising Star Chef” in 2018 at the Golden Foodies. His most recent accolade is being named, “Chef of the Year 2019,” by the Orange County Business Journal.
